The poor stay poor because they're stuck in a vicious cycle. Because they have little to no income they could not afford to provide their children with an ample amount of education to prepare them for the future.
A lack of proper education would lead to a very minimal amount of job opportunities. The jobs that they may get are of the same class, if not lower, as their parents.
Since their jobs are low-paying, they cannot provide the right education for THEIR children to get a good job in the future.
The rich on the other hand can only get richer from here on out because of a similar cycle. Since their jobs are high-paying, they can provide the right amount of education for their children so that they can make enough money to one day become as, if not more, successful than their parents.
Another reason why they could be getting richer is because their companies are ever-expanding. These companies are looking for new ventures to invest in to further increase their income and brand recognition.
